A current Triathlon Ireland (TI) membership is mandatory to become a member of Athy Triathlon Club (ATC).
Joining ATC requires using the online payment facility provided by Triathlon Ireland to purchase both TI and club membership. New and renewing members can affiliate their TI membership to Athy Triathlon Club as part of TI’s membership process. For insurance reasons, a TI training membership is the minimum membership required to take part in club training.
The cost of ATC membership for 2025 is as follows: (This is in addition to one of the TI Licenses detailed below – more information available from the Triathlon Ireland website).

ONE DAY MEMBERSHIP
Triathlon Ireland membership is a requirement to race in a TI sanctioned race. If you are planning to race in a sanctioned event, you will require either a Race or Swim Plus Membership, if you do not have either of these then you will require a One Day Membership (ODM). All junior/youth/kids racers require a ODM per event as there are no annual race licenses at these age levels. The ODM provides third party and personal accident cover while racing in a sanctioned event through Triathlon Ireland.
To purchase a ODM, you must first register as a TI site user (free) on the TI website. Once registered click on buy a one day membership (ODM) under your account to make your purchase.
Note that there is a difference of €50 between a TI Training Membership and a TI Race Membership, if you are planning to race more than one TI sanctioned race it may be better value to purchase a Race Membership, ODM prices are as follows:
